what is urbex? urbex is a condensed term for "urban exploration" where you explore interesting, often inaccesible and abandoned places. i don't consider myself part of the "urbexing" community but i enjoy finding cool spots and exploring them.
what is rurex? rurex is a very unofficial term for exploring rural areas instead of urban ones. most of my spots are rurex!
i am open to trading spots in the southeast usa!

Quiet bones lay delapitated for just over a decade. Once an old laminating / plastics factory built in the 40s, now slowly being torn apart each hurricane season.
This place almost seemed endless in March. We started from the back, at first starting in manufacturing rooms and large pools of unmoving water. Some buildings were noticeably older, there was one brick building with smokestacks and endless pipes that showed its age the most. The rain only seemed to make waterfalls through the collapsed roof, verdant even in rust, an oasis in decay.
